Avalon Park's S.T.A.T.E. Program
Check out this year-round stewardship program for students ages 14-17: Students Taking Action for Tomorrow’s Environment. Program coordinator Rebecca Kassay corresponds with environmentally conscious non-profit organizations, planning hands-on, rewarding volunteer projects. S.T.A.T.E. provides students ages 14-17 from various local school districts an outlet for nature-rooted curiosities, creative energy, and their desire to strengthen their relationship with the local community and ecology.
