S.T.A.T.E.—Students Taking Action for Tomorrow’s Environment— offers the local youth an opportunity to connect with organizations within the environmental community. This youth volunteer corps aims to empower and educate students by coordinating volunteer events with environmentally minded
non-profit organizations, providing a workforce for both short- and long-term projects, ultimately establishing relationships between young individuals and conscious members of their community. S.T.A.T.E. will run year-round, perpetually introducing and reinforcing the importance of
life-long environmental stewardship into youthful minds. |
